Sessions

Sessions Offered

Hot Stone Therapy:

Smooth heated basalt stones are incorporated within a therapeutic massage session. After oil or lotion is applied to the client's skin, the massage therapist places a heated stone in each hand and begins to use firm strokes along the musculature using the stones.

Neuro-Muscular/Trigger Point:

Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a form of massage. It is distinguished from other types of massage in that a quasi-static pressure is applied to the skin with the aim of stimulating specific areas of skeletal muscle. Often these areas of muscle are myofascial trigger points.

The application of NMT is dependent on several key factors:

  • The location of myofascial trigger points
  • Force has to be applied perpendicular to the skin surface if muscle is to be stimulated).

Transsage:

Transsage is a revolutionary technique which unites the power of the mind with bodywork therapies. Time-honored techniques such as deep relaxation, guided imagery, metaphors, and affirmations are coupled with therapeutic massage and bodywork. Through this, clients achieve greater results and increased benefits as they return for repeat sessions.

Intention Is EVERYTHING!

During the first 10 minutes of the bodywork session, the client is guided through a relaxation/imagery process incorporating powerful affirmations as well as their intention for the session. From there, the client is allowed a quiet, healing space to enjoy the bodywork.

What people are saying about Transsage:

"I felt a state of relaxation that I had never experienced with traditional massage. In the past I felt emotionally unresolved after massage. During the Transsage session I was able to process the emotions that surfaced as a result of the bodywork." -- Megan Sillito, Master Rapid Eye Technician, Reiki Master, Teacher

"I believe Transsage is the way of the future. My web of mysterious health problems puzzled doctors for years. No medication worked to relieve the intense pain and spasm I experienced most of the time, or the frequent migraine headaches. Then came Transsage. A one hour session relieved a migraine that a "knock-out" shot from the emergency room could not touch. Spasm and pain in my shoulders and neck have been reduced by 90% and daily routines are easier to perform." -- Sheila Christensen, Founding President, Lupus Foundation of America, N. Utah Chapter

"It's brought my clients to a new level of relaxation that they never thought possible. When they are in that deep state, muscles are easier to work...they are more pliable and open." -- Annabeth Christie

"Transsage is life changing. I would go out of my way to receive a Transsage." -- Linda Armstrong, RET, Master Herbalist

"Ten-fold, my clients wouldn't have a massage any other way than with Transsage" -- Jens Petersen, LMT
